CUNARD CRUISE LINE OVERVIEW:

The classic traditions of the golden age of ocean travel are very much alive today aboard Cunard's Cruise Liners -   Queen Mary 2 (QM2), Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. For more than 169 years, Cunard Line has proven that true luxury belongs to no particular era. Discover the superior White Star Service for which royalty, celebrities and travelers from every walk of life have come to enjoy. Aboard the line's five-star vessels and in the unique adventures ashore, Cunard blends music and art with cuisine and conversation, invigorating walks with reading and relaxation, explorations of historic landmarks with the purity of nature. This is the Cunard legacy: timeless elegance, incomparable service, intriguing destinations and, quite simply, a more cultured experience.

Queen Mary 2 (QM2), is Cunard's 2,620-passenger flagship, is widely recognized as the most famous ship in the world.  At 150,000 gross tons, the QM2 has an amazing array of luxury accomodations and public spaces.   As the first true ocean liner to be built in over three decades, this extraordinary 150,000-ton Queen is amongst the longest, largest and widest vessels ever built. But despite her grand scale,QM2 carries a relatively small compliment of 2,620 passengers in an atmosphere echoing the glamour of the golden age of ocean travel.  Whether sailing on an annual around-the-world journey or serving as a link between Britain and the Americas, she is truly an international icon.

The Cunard fleet also includes two other modern ocean liners built to Cunard's exacting standards -  Queen Victoria (2007 / 90,000 gross tons / 2014 passengers), and a newly built, but familiarly named Queen Elizabeth (Fall 2010 / 90,400 gross tons / 2092 passengers).

For more than 169 years, a Cunard Queen has reigned on the high seas. This tradition has continued with the introduction these fine new vessels that offer the very best of Cunard's heritage and traditions, along with all modern day luxuries.  Exciting new innovations aboard these vessels include the first traditional West End-style private viewing boxes at sea in the Royal Court Theatre; the first floating Cunardia museum display, housing Cunard artifacts and memorabilia and the first two-story, 'spiral staircased' library at sea. The ship also features the line's celebrated luxury Grills accommodation and dining, further enhanced on Queen Victoria with exclusive deck terraces and an al fresco dining option.

Maintaining the heritage of her Cunard and White Star forbears, QM2 is the only vessels afloat providing regular transatlantic service.   Cunard Line sails to destinations worldwide.
